1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy (“Cookie Policy”) explains how SayHello, operated by SayHello – FZCO, a company established in the Emirate of Dubai, United Arab Emirates (“SayHello”, “we”, “us” or “our”), uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on the SayHello website located at www.sayhellojobs.com and the SayHello mobile application(s) (together, the “Platform”), and how you, as a Candidate, Employer or other visitor (“you” or “User”), can control them.
This Cookie Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy and our Terms and Conditions (together, the “Legal Terms”). Where this Cookie Policy deals specifically with cookies and similar technologies, it shall prevail over the Privacy Policy to that extent; in all other respects, the Privacy Policy shall apply to our processing of any personal data collected through cookies.
Strictly necessary cookies are used to operate the Platform. Optional cookies and similar technologies are used only after you select the corresponding choice through our cookie banner or preference centre, where required by applicable law. Continuing to browse does not by itself turn on optional categories.
2. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer, mobile phone or other device when you visit a website or use an application. Cookies are widely used to make websites and applications work, or work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the owners and operators of the relevant site.
Cookies may be “session Cookies”, which are temporary and are deleted from your device once you close your browser, or “persistent Cookies”, which remain on your device for a set period of time or until you delete them manually, and which are activated each time you visit the Platform.
Cookies set by us are referred to as “first-party Cookies”. Cookies set by parties other than us are referred to as “third-party Cookies”. Third-party Cookies enable third-party features or functionality to be provided on or through the Platform. The parties that set these third-party Cookies can recognise your device both when it visits the Platform and when it visits certain other websites or applications.
3. Types of Cookies We Use
3.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies. These Cookies are essential for the Platform to function properly, including to enable you to log into your Account, navigate between pages, complete a Job Advertisement submission or a CV Enhancement Service purchase, and use security features. The Platform cannot function properly without these Cookies, and they cannot be switched off through our cookie preference centre. Strictly Necessary Cookies do not require your consent under applicable law.
3.2 Performance and Analytics Cookies. These Cookies and similar technologies help us understand how Users use the Platform and improve its performance. After you accept Analytics, Google Analytics measures visits to public website pages and counts completed candidate signups, job applications, and employer job submissions. Private account, staff, invitation, and payment pages are not measured as page views. Outcome counts use a separate measurement context that excludes private URLs and personal details such as names, email addresses, CVs, and account or application identifiers. Google Analytics does not load before consent. Query strings and URL fragments are excluded from page-view data. Where enabled, a product-feedback service may also run on eligible pages after Analytics consent.
3.3 Functionality Cookies. These Cookies and similar browser storage allow the Platform to remember choices you make and provide enhanced, more personalised features. Optional preferences remain off until you accept the Preferences category.
3.4 Partner Measurement. If you accept Partner measurement before opening a SayHello partner link, we may store a first-party source-session cookie to connect that visit to a later sign-up or application. If you do not accept, the link still opens without creating a source session.
4. Other Tracking Technologies
In addition to Cookies, we may use similar browser technologies, including local storage and session storage, to support the functionality described in Clause 3. These are covered by the choices described in this Cookie Policy where applicable.
References to “Cookies” in this Cookie Policy include these other similar tracking technologies, unless the context requires otherwise.
5. Why We Use Cookies
We use Cookies for the following purposes:
- to operate and secure the Platform, including authenticating Users and maintaining Candidate and Employer sessions;
- to remember your preferences and settings between visits, if you accept Preferences;
- to understand how the Platform is used, diagnose technical issues, and improve the Platform’s performance and content, where the relevant optional technology is enabled and accepted;
- to measure the effectiveness of partner links, if you accept Partner measurement; and
- to support payment processes for Employer Subscriptions and the Candidate CV Enhancement Service where those services are available.
6. Consent and Your Choices
Where required by applicable law, we will ask for your consent before placing any Cookie on your device other than a Strictly Necessary Cookie. You may give, withhold, or withdraw your consent to non-essential Cookies at any time through the first-visit cookie banner or “Cookie preferences” in the Platform footer.
If you do not consent to, or subsequently withdraw consent for, non-essential Cookies, certain features of the Platform that rely on those Cookies (such as remembered preferences or personalised content) may not function as intended. This will not affect your ability to use the core, Strictly Necessary features of the Platform.
You may also control or delete Cookies through your browser or device settings, as described in Clause 7. Please note that browser-level controls apply across all websites you visit, and not solely to the Platform.
7. How to Control Cookies Through Your Browser
Most web browsers allow you to manage your Cookie preferences, including to: (a) see what Cookies are stored on your device and delete them individually; (b) block third-party Cookies; (c) block Cookies from particular websites; (d) block all Cookies from being set; and (e) delete all Cookies when you close your browser.
If you choose to block or delete Cookies, you may not be able to access certain areas or features of the Platform, and some services may not function properly. For further information on managing Cookies, please refer to your browser’s help function or, for mobile devices, your device settings.

9. Third-Party Cookies
WorkOS AuthKit supports essential sign-in. Where the Platform integrates third-party payment processors to facilitate Employer Subscription payments or Candidate CV Enhancement Service payments, those third parties may set their own Cookies in connection with processing the relevant payment. We do not control such third-party Cookies, and your use of any third-party service is subject to that third party’s own cookie and privacy policies.
Google Analytics receives public-page visit data and the outcome counts described above only after Analytics consent. Advertising storage, Google signals, and advertising personalization are disabled. We do not load advertising pixels or retargeting tags. An optional product-feedback service may be enabled on eligible pages outside production after Analytics consent.
If you wish to object to the use of any third-party Cookie, please refer to the relevant third party’s own cookie policy and manage your preferences directly with that third party, or through your browser settings as described in Clause 7.
10. Children
The Platform is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect personal data through Cookies from, individuals who do not meet the minimum age requirement to use the Platform under our Terms and Conditions.
11. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, including to reflect changes in the Cookies we use or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. Any changes will be posted on the Platform with an updated “Last Updated” date. We encourage you to review this Cookie Policy periodically to stay informed about our use of Cookies.
